Who we are
DrugAlt (“DrugAlt,” “we,” “us”) runs drugalt.com and DrugAlt Pro. You can reach us at [email protected]. By using drugalt.com or DrugAlt Pro, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Information, not medical advice
- DrugAlt compares brand-name medicines with their authorized generics and regular generics, and shows ways to pay less. It’s information, not medical, legal or financial advice, and using it doesn’t make us your health care provider.
- Don’t start, stop or switch a medicine without talking to your pharmacist or prescriber.
- Drug information comes from the FDA and other public sources. Prices and savings offers come from pharmacies’ and drug makers’ own websites, and each shows when we last checked it. They change often and can be wrong or out of date, so confirm the price with the pharmacy before you fill. We don’t guarantee that any price, offer or product is available to you.
Using drugalt.com
The comparison on drugalt.com is free. Please don’t misuse it: don’t try to break or overload the site, get around its security, or copy it in bulk in a way that harms it. Links to pharmacies, drug makers and clinics go to their own sites, which have their own terms. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for what they offer.
DrugAlt Pro
- Your account. You sign in through Clerk, our sign-in provider. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 18 to have an account.
- Plans. The Clinic plan is for one clinic location and its staff. The Personal plan is for you and the people you care for. Prices are on the DrugAlt Pro page, in U.S. dollars, plus any tax that applies.
- Billing. Stripe, our payment processor, charges your card at the start of each monthly or yearly period. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel.
- Canceling. Cancel anytime from your dashboard: “Manage billing” opens Stripe, where you can also switch plans or change your card. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. We don’t refund partial periods, except where the law requires it. If you were charged by mistake, email us within 30 days and we’ll refund it.
- Price changes. If a price goes up, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
- Printouts. You may print, save and share your handouts and reference sheets with your patients, staff and family. You’re responsible for how you use them. DrugAlt Pro has no place for patient information: don’t put patients’ names or health details in your header, note or anywhere else in your account.
What’s ours and what’s yours
The site’s design, text and code are ours. The medicine list and header you save are yours, and we use them only to run DrugAlt Pro for you, as the Privacy Policy explains.
Ending an account
You can stop using DrugAlt Pro anytime, and email us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service or doesn’t pay, and we may change or stop offering a feature. If we stop offering DrugAlt Pro altogether, we’ll refund the unused part of any period you’ve paid for.
Limits
DrugAlt is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about DrugAlt is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $50 if you haven’t paid us anything. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes and the law that applies
We may update these terms. If a change matters to Pro members, we’ll email them before it takes effect, and the date at the top always shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Texas and the United States. Questions? [email protected].
